What to know

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring any relevant imaging (X-rays, MRI, CT scans), a list of current medications, and your private health insurance card if applicable. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated.

How long is a first appointment?

Initial consultations are typically 45–60 minutes. This allows time for a thorough assessment, diagnosis, and your first treatment. Follow-up appointments are usually 30–45 minutes.

Do you accept private health insurance?

Yes. We accept all major private health funds. We use HalTH software for on-the-spot claiming, so please bring both your payment card and your private health insurance card to your appointment.

Can I claim through Medicare?

Physiotherapy is claimable under Medicare's Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan with a GP referral. Chiropractic and myotherapy are not currently covered by Medicare.
